Senior's Welcome

Hello Seniors! My name is Caroline Smolka and I am the BRACE Advisor at Coral Springs Charter School.

BRACE stands for Broward Advisor for Continuing Education.
Every Broward County public High School has a BRACE advisor.

The BRACE office is filled with information about 4-year colleges, 2-year colleges, vocational-technical schools and military programs. I am here to assist you with some of the important decisions that you will be making this year. If you plan to continue with your education after high school, then you need to make an appointment with me. The BRACE office is located in the Guidance Office.

This year is filled with many events and a lot of information. I know at times it may seem overwhelming, so please feel free to stop by my office at any time. Please keep a close eye on the bulletin board outside my office because I am constantly posting new information. I will be visiting your Government classes every few weeks to keep you updated on scholarship opportunities, college open houses, admissions deadlines and financial aid information.
